Product Description

A 26 minute DVD movie presentation of over 260 still photos featuring South Australia's Outback, Gammon Ranges and Flinders Ranges. Accompanied by background music – no captions or narration, to enable easy viewing and listening, and reminiscence. Play the preview video.

Wildlife, windmills and wildflowers all make an appearance. Mini adventures like the Pichi Richi Railway journey and the Ridge Top Tour at Arkaroola are there too. Visits to Alligator Gorge, the Ochre Pits and Leigh Creek Coal Field are included as well.

Signs, buildings, vehicles, planes and people make an appearance alongside trees, creeks and beautiful scenery. What more could you want as a snapshot of the Australian Bush?

P.S. the wildflowers on the DVD label are South Australia's floral emblem, the Sturt Desert Pea, (absolutely stunning in the Wearing Gorge). There are a few on the actual DVD too.

"Fran West's DVDs for aged care and Alzheimer's patients are found to be very useful tools. When a concert is going to be held, a DVD is shown while preparations are going on and attendees are arriving. It keeps people occupied for a few minutes while they're waiting and it stimulates conversation. The whole DVD doesn't have to be viewed, it's basically a time filler. Outback Adventure is going to be used on Australia Day. Tasmania's Overland Track could also be used on the same day." Rosslyn, Lifestyle Coordinator, Yankalilla, South Australia

"Fran, Regarding the feedback on the DVD's that we purchased the comments are: "I could watch it all day" (Outback Adventure & Marvellous Machinery). "If you didn’t like that, there's something wrong with you" (Beautiful Blooms). So I would say that they are a big hit here. All residents that have watched them have enjoyed them very much." Trish, Regis Sunraysia, Mildura, Victoria
